Post 221: Barbero

In regular Spanish, it means barber, the people who takes care of your beard. However in Mexican slang its used to say someone is acting on the good side of someone, to get something in return, kind of like a teenage girl who is being super nice on the house because she wants to get out to a party. Other word that’s used in the same way is “Lambiscón”

Roberto anda de lambiscón – barbero con el jefe, por que quiere salir temprano. / Roberto is kissing the boss ass, because he wants to leave work early.
