Day 12: Pistear

Pistear means “to drink alcohol”. And the word pisto, means “alcohol”, mostly beer.  Legends say this word comes from “pista de baile” (dance floor) because years ago, when Mexican youths were to dance, they also were drinking, and probably some drunk kid who is now plus 40 years old tought it was cool to say that. Of course, nobody can know if this is true, but its a fun story notheless.

Vamos a comprar pisto
Lets go buy some beer

Vamos a pistear
Lets go drink
