It can mean a few things, like a very promiscuous woman, A woman who is with someone because of the things he have. Its also a word to refer to a prostitute.

To refer to a promicuous woman, other mexislang words are: Puta, zorra, and golfa.

Ex.
Su marido se escapo con una piruja / Her husband left with a whore.

Post 123: Churro

Churro can mean a few different things. For example, a Mexican dessert made of fried dough covered with cinnamon and sugar, sometimes with cajeta (milk candy) inside. It can also mean a joint, a single cigarrete of marijuana. Some may call churro to the curls on curly hair.  A bad movie is often also called a churro.

Tengo hambre, quiero comer churros / I’m hungry, I want to eat some churros.
Vamos con ese wey, siempre tiene al menos un churro para compartir / Lets hang out with that dude. He always have at least a single joint to share.
Me gustan las mujeres con uchos churros en su cabello / I like girls with lots of curls on their hairs.
Fuimos al cine, y la pelicula fue un churro / We went to the movies and the movie was really bad.

Post 122: Ponerse las pilas

In Mexican slang, ponerse las pilas (put batteries on yourself), means you are motivated to put all your attention, effort an energy into something, so you won’t get taken by surprise, and to do the best work you can on that task. It’s the Mexican slang equivalent of Turn the juice on and Get fired up.

Todavia puedes pasar el semester. Ponte las pilas / You still can sabe the semester. Turn the juice on.
